University of Gdańsk excels on gender equality in Times Higher Education Impact Rankings

University of Gdańsk, a partner university of the MINDtheGEPs project, has secured a prestigious position in the latest Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, demonstrating its commitment to gender equality. The university proudly ranks 16th worldwide and maintains its leading status in Poland on gender equality among 1,361 institutions globally.

The Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings evaluates universities based on their contributions to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. These goals encompass a broad range of objectives aimed at fostering a more sustainable and equitable world. The University of Gdańsk's impressive score on gender equality highlights the dedication to promoting inclusive practices and fostering an environment where all individuals can thrive.

One of the initiatives contributing to this success is the MINDtheGEPs project. This project provides University of Gdańsk with a chance to introduce qualitative organisational change through the implementation of a Gender Equality Plan (GEP), promoting gender parity at all levels of academia and acting as a role model for other higher education institutions in the region.

The University of Gdańsk has been implementing structural change for several years through the realisation of numerous projects referring to responsible research and sustainable development goals.
