Women and Research in Physics: competition for Italian secondary schools

The National Research Council (CNR) and the National Institute of Nuclear Physics are organising the third edition of a competition on Women and Research in Physics: between gender stereotypes and professions of the future. On 29 May, the winner will be announced in connection with CNR's 10 year anniversary.

The competition is for secondary schools, and is supported by two European research projects: GENERA – Gender Equality Network in the European Research Area and MindtheGEPs. The aim is to make students aware of the issue of gender equality in scientific research, and provide an opportunity for them to deepen their knowledge of the opportunities that the study of physics offers.
