On 5 December, MINDtheGEPs hosted the last Open Forum of the year together the Jagiellonian University in Poland. It was an engaging and insightful webinar on achieving gender balance: strategies for recruitment, retention and career progression. About the speakers & presentations
- Małgorzata Grzelewska, Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs at Jagiellonian University. In her presentation, she covered the OTMR (open, transparent, merit-based recruitment) procedure: a systemic solution to include adequate gender representation in university admissions committees.
- Ewa Stocker, Senior specialist at Security, Safety and Equal Treatment Department (Safe JU) at Jagiellonian University. She presented on advancing gender equality in academia through training by sharing insights and recommendations from EIGE and UN Women Reports regarding gender empowerment trainings & equality in academia.
