Open Forum on gender equality in academic publishing: recording available now!
Yesterday, MINDtheGEPs hosted an Open Forum session on research and teaching with a gender perspective. Did you miss the live webinar? No worries! A recorded version is now live on YouTube, available. Enjoy!
This Open Forum session was focusing on how to integrate gender-sensitive practices into academic publishing in order to foster systemic change across research and academia. In a conversation-style webinar, Dr Magdalena Żadkowska from the University of Gdańsk and Miguel Santinhos from Elsevier shared their different experiences and perspectives.
The Open Forum session builds on insights from the MINDtheGEPs deliverable Gendering Scientific Publications Guidelines, with key recommendations summarised in our latest policy brief, Reviewing for Gender Equality: Leveraging Scientific Publishing for Systemic Change.
